Jessica Francisca Colaco is a vibrant bass guitarist with a passion for the universe that is music. She loves playing Rhythm and Bass Guitar and occasionally enjoys listening to Amapiano. Her dream as a teenager was to have a rock band which she set up in 2016 called BassiiV. She is currently the first female in tech and music to release a single (Momentum) on NFT in Kenya.

In 2009-2010, she played for a professional fusion band called Akala founded by famous Kenyan musician Viola Karuri. From 2010 onwards, she played with various rock bands like M20, BassiiV and Always Summer in Africa (ASIA) founded by famous rock singer RISH. At the beginning of 2021, she decided to work on her own EP, enlisting Levi Mutambi, and a host of amazing Musicians and singers who helped to put it together

Harnessing the power of her life story, she aims to pour more than just her heart into the strings, but the message of hope and redemption through life's biggest challenges. The lyrics remind us that life may beat us down, but we can always get up. Her soon to be released EP has the feel of live band performance that immerses you into her thoughts and feelings as she guides you through Chapter 1 of what has been an epic journey of pain, growth and transformation.
